Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in warehouse management, inventory control, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storing, and order fulfilment.
- Ensure efficient and organized workflow within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management:
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Manage stock rotation and minimize excess inventory.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control standards for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Address and resolve any quality issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in warehouse management (minimum 5 years).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and control practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
