Why this role
KONE is seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice and manage legal matters across several countries in the Middle East and Africa region. The chosen candidate will play a critical role in managing various types of legal risks and protecting the companys interests including ensuring compliant business practices.

What will you be doing

• Provide expert legal advice on various legal matters.

• Draft review and negotiate sales contracts other contracts and legal documents.

• Support colleagues in managing and responding to contractual claims to safeguard the companys interests.

• Stay informed on legal and regulatory developments advising stakeholders on their impact.

• Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices and align legal strategies with business goals.

• Maintain and manage relationships with external lawyers and advisors.

• Offer training on legal and compliance topics relevant to the business.

• Develop implement and update legal policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Provide support with compliance matters.

Are you the one

• Master of Laws or equivalent legal qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of postqualification experience from working in a multinational company or a leading international law firm.

• Fluent in English.

• Proficient Arabic and/or French language skills are seen as a benefit.

• A proven track record of managing a legal role independently and succeeding in an international working environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to express yourself clearly.

• Strong collaboration skills and a proactive solutionoriented approach.

• Strong organizational skills adaptability and ability to manage tasks in a fastpaced environment.
