About the Job
- Responsible for processing accurate custom declarations in Dubai customs - Mirsal-2 system in compliance with customs regulations & requirements.
- Have extensive knowledge of Dubai customs system procedures & prevailing regulations & respond to any internal or customer queries.
- Ensure all activities within the scope of customs are handled in 100% compliance withcustom regulations.
- Arrange documentation & payments via DP world system.
- Ensure timely payment request for top up of Custom Duty & DP World accounts in order to ensure there is no disruption to operations.
- Maintaining reports and data as deemed necessary for the operations.
- Analyze & continuously improve the customs internal working procedure to achieve efficiency & productivity.
- Escalate issues if any to the Customs manager for timely resolution.
- Drive & push CIP development.
- Handling any other tasks as assigned by the customs manager.
