Senior Demand Planner

About the role

To work closely with Sales, Program and engineering to gather and Consolidate the demand. Prepare and maintain Master schedule to support operations and satisfy the sales demand in SAP. Coordinate the customer projects with Supply Planning to ensure the demand is fulfilled. Manage operations planning, control and manage operational parameters and provide production and material status communications to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to consolidate the total demand and to initiate downstream planning with supply planning.
• Creating production schedules based on demand projections in order to meet consumer demands.
• Manage, modify and adapt the master production plan due to engineering changes and material shortages.
• Serves as primary point of contact for and liaison with Program, engineering, SCM and Manufacturing department
• Ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System is aligned and provided real time data for activity confirmations and material consumption.
• Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
• Development of the demand plan and it’s validation from various sources and preparation of multiple levels of aggregation for a variety of time horizons as part of the demand planning function
• Analyse and provide insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization
• Compile monthly KPI’s through metrics and system data from various departments.

Basic Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience demand planning and scheduling multiple projects with a proven track record of delivering results
• Experienced in using SAP software
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualification

• Prior industry and regional related experience in planning and scheduling multiple projects.
