Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Estimating quantities of materials and prepare BOQ
- Review specifications
- Preparing tender documents
- Technical and commercial tender analysis for contractors
- Arrange, analyze, and compare quotations from different contractors to choose the most appropriate one
- Review architecture, structure & MEP drawings with brief specifications from client and prepare checklists before tender documents preparation, and check with architect to rectify problems if any
- Review structure drawings with soil investigation reports and recommendations from soil labs and prepare checklists and check with structural engineer to rectify problems if any
- Preparation of quantity for cost estimates and cost control measures
- Reviewing monthly payments
- Meeting up with suppliers, reviewing samples to match specifications and architecture selection
- Reviewing quantity and amounts of variations from contractors
- Arrange, review, and estimate RFPs and work on commercial proposals for upcoming possible projects
- Coordinate between site and office teams for any inquiry or documents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 6 years experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration
- Proficiency in Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Revit, Cost, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong coordination, documentation, and multitasking skills
