About the Role

Job Description

The Graduate Highways Engineer shall be literate in Road design software including AutoCad and Civil3D and shall have the following skills:Be able to assist the senior engineers in preparing a of scope of works documents and projects design able to understand and apply the QA/QC checking procedures as per company policy to ensure sound and coordinated design both internally and across other the basic experience and understanding in the design of Roads (plans profiles typical sections cross sections and signage).Demonstrate excellent working knowledge in the preparation of Power Point presentations and progress sound communication and writing skills along with preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Basic understanding and working knowledge of Roads design of engineering standards codes of practice and local authority guidelines is a road design internship is a plus. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors in Civil Engineering with a Masters Degree in Roads related major is a be a 2021 graduate or graduating no later than Sept 2022Successful applicants must have a 3.4 GPA or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above

1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 
2. Must have 1-2 years of experience
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with interest in client-facing work. 
4. As part of AECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
