Flutter Developer

Transform mobile experiences as a Flutter Developer, crafting high-performance apps that drive Aston VIP's digital innovations in Dubai.

Aston Group is looking for an experienced Flutter Developer to join a small, fast-moving product team. Beyond the advisory business, the group runs a portfolio of proprietary crypto, fintech and UAE-focused digital products at different stages of maturity — some large and long-running, some early and experimental.

You will not be assigned to a single product for the life of the role. Depending on where the portfolio needs you, you may work on B2C consumer applications or B2B platforms, on products with an existing user base or on something that has not shipped yet.

You will start on a two-sided, on-demand marketplace built for the UAE market (a hiring platform). You build it from zero, iOS and Android, and you own the client side end to end: structure, state, integration, release. (Design is ready)

After that, you move onto an established product in the portfolio an Android application on top of a live backend, working alongside a backend developer, tech team a product owner and designers.

The team is small and priorities move, so we look for people who can plan their own week and keep their tasks sequenced without being chased. You will have product context, technical input and answers when you need them — but there is no one standing over you assigning work by the hour.

What you will do

• Build and ship Flutter applications across the group's product portfolio.
• Own features on the client side: implementation, release, iteration.
• Work closely with backend on API contracts, real-time updates and edge cases.
• Move between B2C and B2B products as portfolio priorities shift.
• Plan and manage your own workload day to day.
• Translate product requirements into working features without a line-by-line spec.
• Quality sits with you. Nobody downstream is going to catch what you missed, so you set the bar and you hold it (on some projects no QA involvement).

What you need for this

• Solid commercial Flutter experience on real, released products — not greenfield only.
• Confident with state management, app structure and performance on production apps.
• Comfortable integrating with backend: REST, real-time data, failure states.
• Able to plan your own schedule and keep work moving without daily supervision.
• Experience with products that handle money, payments or transactions is an advantage.
• Exposure to blockchain or web3 concepts is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Excellent written English, speaking English B1-B2 (you should be able communicate in international team).
