Description : We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team immediately as an HSE OFFICER.
Job Objective : Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors. Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training. Observe HSE regulations, wear all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, and correct obvious hazards immediately or report them to the proper personnel.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor workplace activities to ensure compliance with company safety policies and government safety regulations.
- Set up a safety committee team and arrange for weekly/monthly meetings.
- Conduct safety inspections internally and externally, provide safety training to employees, and ensure compliance with the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
- Manage risks and hazards in the factory area and develop prevention strategies for injuries and incidents.
- Report and investigate incidents, injuries, and hazards, and implement agreed control measures.
- Review and analyze injury/accident reports and escalate them to management.
- Ensure health and safety materials are properly placed.
- Manage hazardous waste effectively.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in any field and a Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from a recognized Institute/University or NEBOSH Diploma.
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years.
Job Specific Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office software and any other related systems.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Possess strong negotiation, presentation, and managerial skills.
