Are you entering your finalyear in Civil Engineering looking to gain handson experience in road design and engineering AECOM is offering a long term internship through our  Undergraduate Program with the Highways  role providing practical training exposure to industryleading projects and the opportunity for a fulltime Graduate position after graduation.

About the Role
As an Undergraduate Highways Engineer you will collaborate with industry experts contribute to impactful road design projects and develop proficiency in essential design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. This role is ideal for ambitious students seeking to build a strong foundation for a career in highways and transportation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in  scope of work preparation  and  project design criteria .
• Gain experience in  road design alignment crosssections and pavement design .
• Develop 3D modelling and crosssection designs  using industry software.
• Support  technical report writing  and project documentation.
• Stay updated on  engineering standards and local guidelines .

Qualifications :

• Education:  Pursuing a Civil Engineering Degree.
• Expected Graduation: 2026 (finalyear students).
• GPA:  Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) to be considered.
• Start Date:  May 2025.
• Duration : 12 months from start date.
• Flexible Work Arrangements:  Customised hours based on class schedules. 
• Eligibility: As part of AECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
