Position: Shop Assistant

Location: Ajman

Job Role Summary:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers find products, provide information, and offer recommendations as needed.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash registers.
• Restock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure the store's appearance is always clean and organized.
• Receive, unpack, and label merchandise accurately.
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
• Follow store policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the shop manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move moderately heavy items.
