Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a well-established group of companies based in Abu Dhabi . The ideal candidate will support the finance team in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Records

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting entries .
• Record daily transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries .
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports .
• Assist in preparing and filing VAT returns in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations .

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.

Bank & Account Reconciliation

• Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger verification .
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for management review.
• Support auditors during internal and external audits.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company financial policies .

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 2–3 years accounting experience in UAE required
