Paralegal

AECOM Middle East are currently seeking a Paralegal to join our Middle East legal counsel division. Based in Dubai the Paralegal will support the end market Senior Counsels and the Regional Chief Counsel on all business matters.

Responsibilities:

• Draft review and organize legal documents including NDAs MOUs consultancy agreements subcontracts and service agreements.
• Support the legal team in managing project-related contracts and ensuring compliance with local laws and international standards (e.g. FIDIC).
• Conduct legal research on regional laws regulations and industry standards.
• Assist in dispute resolution processes including arbitration and litigation support.
• Maintain and update legal databases contract registers and document management systems.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
• Monitor changes in legislation and advise internal stakeholders on potential impacts.
• Support corporate governance tasks such as board resolutions company secretarial duties and licensing renewals.
• Provide administrative support to the legal department including gathering and relaying information to internal and external clients.
• Perform administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets preparing correspondence completing forms and maintaining lists.
• Support the preparation of internal project approvals and assist in managing claims and disputes.
• Collaborate with commercial and project teams to protect AECOMs business interests and strategic objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree of Law required from an accredited University.
• 2 years experience in the legal field ideally within construction or real estate
• As part of AECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
