The Leave Payroll Analyst I will join Sparrow’s Customer Experience team, playing a key role in supporting payroll and leave specialists by preparing customized payroll calculations, plans, and reconciliations for clients. This position also contributes to product improvement by identifying inefficiencies, sharing feedback, and supporting enhancements in payroll systems and workflows. It is a dynamic role that blends analytical work with customer-facing collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare payroll calculations and customized payroll plans for customer leave cases

• Support leave specialists with payroll reconciliations and data accuracy

• Ensure payroll plans are correctly configured in the Sparrow platform

• Collaborate with leave specialists, onboarding teams, and internal departments

• Communicate with customer payroll teams to ensure smooth implementation

• Assist in setting up payroll schedules, workflows, and configurations

• Identify process improvements and contribute to product enhancement ideas

• Provide feedback to improve payroll systems and operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or data operations

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and data formatting

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
