Job Description:
Job Title: Project Engineer / Coordinator – Civil & Mechanical
Experience: 2–3 years
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering .
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction, civil, mechanical, or MEP projects .
- Experience in project coordination, site supervision, and project execution .
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents .
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams .
- Experience in material submittals, technical submittals, inspections, and approvals .
- Ability to monitor site progress, work schedules, and project requirements .
- Good understanding of civil and mechanical works and coordination between different disciplines.
- Ability to identify and resolve site issues and technical problems in coordination with the project team.
- Maintain proper project documentation, reports, records, and correspondence .
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements .
- Good communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office ; knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering/project management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction/project environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities between site teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers .
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed as per schedule.
- Coordinate material submissions, inspections, approvals, and technical documentation .
- Review drawings and coordinate with relevant engineering disciplines.
- Assist the Project Manager in project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting .
- Follow up on site requirements and ensure timely resolution of technical and coordination issues.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project specifications .
