Pricing and Systems Actuary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain efficient rating systems and models in Python and Excel
- Build and maintain risk and simulation models to analyze and steer the business
- Research industry data to enhance rating, filings, and underwriting guidance
- Develop complex analyses of underwriting, operations, and product performance
- Assist data science and insurance teams with ad hoc analysis and data cleansing
- Support the integration of new data sources to maximize business applications
- Maintain a clean production environment for data models
- Present findings and opinions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience including P&C insurance
- 2+ years of experience with Python
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, CS)
- Experience with modern cloud computing and databases (AWS, Snowflake)
- Strong communication skills for translating technical results into business recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- ACAS or FCAS designation
- Domain knowledge in management or professional liability
