Data Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to join the IIRIS team focusing on reference data management and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a passion for data and an eagerness to leverage AI in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage reference data within the IIRIS ecosystem ensuring data quality and consistency
• Utilize SQL for data querying and manipulation and engage with APIs using tools like Postman
• Conduct meetings with business users to understand their tool usage and data requirements
• Translating technical details into comprehensible insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with the team to communicate our products effectively and contribute to the ongoing evolution of IIRIS data management practices with a focus on AI integration

Qualifications :

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation with a strong understanding of data structures and relationships
• Experience with Python/Pandas for data analysis and processing and familiarity with AI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Ability to work with structured datasets and apply data quality methodologies
• An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A willingness to learn and adapt is crucial for this junior role. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to use AI programmatically through GitHub projects showcasing their experience with tools like DBT and their understanding of the data landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customer data platforms or master data management
• Knowledge of B2B data environments and challenges and familiarity with AI/ML methods for data matching and classification
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements as well as experience with data visualization tools.
