Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Data Processing Executive to support our research operations team in cleaning, processing, and tabulating survey data. This role is execution-focused and suited for someone who is highly comfortable working with Excel and SPSS, follows instructions precisely, and can handle repetitive data tasks with accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and structure raw survey data in Excel and SPSS
- Run basic data checks, consistency checks, and logic validations
- Recode variables, labels, and value sets as per instructions
- Prepare data files for analysis and reporting
- Create standard tables, cross-tabulations, and banners using SPSS
- Export tables into Excel or PowerPoint-ready formats
- Follow predefined tabulation plans and templates
- Support senior team members with data outputs for reports and dashboards
- Work extensively with Excel formulas
- Format tables, charts, and data summaries
- Maintain clean, well-structured Excel files
- Use AI capabilities to produce and work with Python, VBA etc. for better efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure data accuracy and flag inconsistencies or missing data
- Follow internal data-processing guidelines and naming conventions
- Maintain proper documentation of changes and outputs
