Senior Software Developer - RPMS/FileMan/M/Cache

Responsibilities
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of developers to design, program, deploy, and support clinical applications within the IHS RPMS system
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug complex new software products or enhance existing software
- Analyze and recommend technical solutions for application design issues, including network and security considerations
- Support application user interface accessibility requirements
- Provide input for technical documentation such as user manuals and training materials
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide customer support for clinical applications
- Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of Software Development experience in FileMan/M/Cache
- Experience in information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing
- Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare sector
- Advanced knowledge of VA and IHS environments, RPMS, CPRS, or legacy VISTA
- Understanding of Agile processes and the related QA lifecycle
- Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server and/or Azure DevOps
- Proven ability to work on a remote/distributed team
