Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities
- Provide disease state awareness, product information, and pharmacoeconomic analyses to managed care organizations and payers
- Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Present scientific product-related data in hospital, institutional, and academic settings
- Serve as a liaison for unsolicited Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs)
- Address unsolicited requests for medical information from healthcare professionals
- Support company-sponsored trials, clinical trial site recruitment, and Advisory Boards
- Provide medical booth and session coverage at scientific/medical meetings
- Align day-to-day activities with Medical Affairs strategic objectives
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a health-sciences related field (PharmD, MD, DO, PhD)
- Ability to travel up to 60–70%
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a virtual environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of previous MSL or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience in addiction medicine
- Understanding of the managed care arena and pharmacoeconomic principles
