Mechanical Maintenance Technicians

This role is crucial in keeping our STP equipment operating safely reliably and efficiently. By ensuring timely maintenance troubleshooting and repair of key mechanical systems you help prevent downtime protect asset performance and support smooth plant operations.

What Youll Drive

• Maintenance of STP assets including screens and wash compactors grit extraction systems blowers aerators etc.
• Cleaning of tanks with proper risk assessments and necessary mitigation plans whenever instructed by the concerned engineer.
• Overhauls repairs or replacement of parts for pumps valves penstocks blowers etc.
• Alignment and installation of motors pumps and other mechanical equipment.
• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Inspect machines engines transmissions etc. and perform diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
• Conduct repairs with the goal of ensuring maximum reliability.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery equipment and systems.
• Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of gearboxes etc.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Maintain housekeeping of STP areas after completing maintenance work.

Qualifications :

Youre a Great Fit if You Have

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certification from a vocational or trade school is preferred.
• Good knowledge of tools techniques and terminology associated with the mechanical trade.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a plant environment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
