Position Title: Surveyor

A Surveyor is responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing land, property boundaries, construction sites, and infrastructure projects. The role involves collecting accurate data, preparing reports and maps, and ensuring projects comply with legal, regulatory, and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land, topographic, construction, and boundary surveys.
• Use surveying equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, levels, and drones where applicable.
• Measure and record distances, elevations, contours, and other land features.
• Prepare survey reports, maps, sketches, and legal descriptions.
• Establish and verify property boundaries and reference points.
• Interpret construction plans, engineering drawings, and site specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Ensure survey activities comply with applicable regulations and standards.
• Monitor construction progress and verify alignment, levels, and dimensions.
• Maintain accurate survey records and documentation.
• Identify and resolve surveying discrepancies and field issues.
• Perform equipment calibration and routine maintenance.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid surveyor certification or license (where required).
• Proven experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or a related field.
• Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, measurements, and mapping techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and site conditions.
