Head Waiter (French Speaker)

About the Opportunity

Fundamental Hospitality is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head Waiter to join one of our nightlife restaurants in Dubai.

The Head Waiter will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, leading the service team on the floor, and ensuring that every aspect of service reflects the venue’s elevated standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team throughout the shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

• Oversee the service of an assigned section and ensure consistently high standards.

• Welcome and engage with guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.

• Coordinate closely with the Management and Reception teams to ensure smooth guest flow and table management.

• Ensure all service standards, procedures, and presentation guidelines are consistently followed.

• Anticipate guest needs and handle requests or concerns with professionalism and discretion.

• Support the training and development of Waiters and other service team members.

• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages, and current promotions.

• Assist management with maintaining the energy and service standards of the venue throughout the evening.

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role within a high-end restaurant, luxury hospitality, or nightlife environment.

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and guest experience.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a service team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Confident, polished, and guest-focused personality.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of both French and English; additional languages are a plus.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays .
